WOW lives in your menu bar and keeps a little 3D pet on your desktop. When it's time to drink water, take your pills or rest your eyes, your pet brings the reminder right to your cursor.
Most reminder apps just ping you. WOW gives your reminders a face, and a friend who cares if you finish them.
Every 30 minutes, or at 9:00 and 14:00. Pick weekdays only, set quiet hours, and snooze for 10 minutes when you're busy.
It walks along your windows, sits on the Dock, and runs over when a reminder is due. Drag it to throw it, click to say hi.
Finish reminders to earn treats. Right-click to feed your pet, or throw a ball and watch it play fetch.
Log water with one tap and build a streak. Achievements unlock hats for your pet, from a bow to a 30-day crown.
Droppy for water, Pilly for medicine, Specs for eye breaks, plus Kitty, Teddy, Robo, King and more.
Pause everything for an hour, mute sounds, or turn the pet off. WOW stays out of the way when you need focus.
Every pet is a real 3D model with its own walk, run, happy dance and snack time. Tap one to put it on the demo desktop above.
Add a reminder in seconds from the menu bar. Choose an icon, a character, a sound and a schedule.
Every Done counts. Watch your glasses add up, hit your daily goal, and build a streak you won't want to break.
Written in Swift for macOS. The pet sleeps when you pause it, so it barely touches your battery.
No account, no analytics, no internet needed. Your reminders and stats stay on your Mac.
No subscription, no ads, no "pro" version. Just download and use it.
WOW isn't signed with a paid Apple Developer account yet, so macOS asks you to allow it once.
Get WOW.dmg, open it, and drag WOW into your Applications folder.
Open WOW. When macOS warns you, click Done, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
Look for the 🔔 in your menu bar. The welcome tour helps you pick a pet and your first reminder.

I kept ignoring the little pop-ups telling me to drink water and take breaks. So I made one that walks over and waits for me, and it turns out that's much harder to ignore.
WOW is free, has no ads, and gets a new pet or feature whenever I find one worth adding. Got an idea? Tell me.
WOW stays free either way.
Yes. No ads, no subscription, no paid tier.
Any Mac on macOS 13 Ventura or later, with Apple silicon or Intel.
Apple charges developers a yearly fee to "notarize" apps. WOW isn't notarized yet, so macOS shows a warning the first time. Allow it once in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, and it opens normally after that.
WOW checks for updates once a day and asks before installing anything. You can also check yourself in General → Check for Updates. On version 1.0 or 1.1? Download WOW once more from this page; after that, updates come to you.
No. WOW has no analytics and no account. The only time it goes online is the daily update check, which sends nothing about you. Your reminders and stats stay on your Mac.
No. The pet uses lightweight pre-rendered frames instead of a live 3D engine. You can pause it or turn it off anytime from the menu bar.
